The chances of seeing an "Avengers" trailer at New York Comic-Con next weekend have just improved dramatically, but that won't be the never-before-seen footage that's been promised to attendees… because we're going to be seeing that trailer well before NYCC rolls into town.
Marvel Studios have announced that the trailer for "Marvel's The Avengers" will be released next Tuesday (October 11). That's right, at long last, our first full look at Iron Man, Captain America and Thor fighting side by side is just days away, so let the speculation begin… what are we in store for?
Will we see Earth's Mightiest Heroes rallying together against a common foe? Or will the trailer pit our favorite superheroes against each other before their eventual team-up? Will we finally get confirmation of the Skrulls, or will Loki remain the central antagonist of the piece even at this relatively late stage in the game? Will we be treated to a healthy helping of action and mayhem, or will most of the violence be contained in Joss Whedon's sharp, quippy dialogue?
