() -- Taylor Armstrong is bouncing back from tragedy.
"" star, who was "devastated" by her estranged in August, "seemed very happy to start moving on with her life and getting back to work," according to a source at an October 20 commercial shoot at Tru Hollywood nightclub.
Armstrong, along with " and "Orange County"'s Gretchen Rossi, will be part of a team of "Housewives" to host Ciroc Vodka-sponsored New Year's Eve parties in Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, New York City and Miami this year. Commercials for the events, which will be open to lucky contest winners, will air on Bravo.
"Taylor was in good spirits, talking to a few people about the new things happening in her life," the source says.
And she clearly bonded with Burruss and Rossi, who both shared personal tragedies while filming previous seasons of "Real Housewives." Burruss's fiancé, Ashley Jewell, was killed during a fight in 2009 and Rossi's fiancé, Jeff Beitzel, lost a battle against cancer in 2008.
"Gretchen and Taylor laughed and exchanged 'Housewives' stories during hair and make-up. They acted like besties, teasing each other about their cast mates," the source says. "Gretchen and Taylor both ran up to Kandi when she got to the set. They all three were very happy they would be hosting the New Year's Eve party."
As for reports Armstrong is dating, the source says they're false and that the Housewife is focused on work and her daughter, Kennedy.
