Now that "Chronicle" has shown its real super powers at the box office, it's time to turn our attention toward the questions that we are left wondering about at the end of the film and whether or not a sequel could be in the works.
There are a lot of questions still swirling in our heads following the film's ending. For example, what the heck happens next? What goes down in the aftermath of that third act?
No spoilers here, but the three lead actors -- Dane DeHaan, Alex Russell and Michael B. Jordan -- spoke with MTV News and gave their thoughts on the future of "Chronicle."
"I just hope people like the movie and leave the movie wanting more," DeHaan answered diplomatically. "Hopefully if we leave people wanting more then we can think about what comes next."
"I think there's potential for it to go in many different directions after the lights go down on 'Chronicle,'" Russell added. "It obviously holds up as its own story and it's probably good if people are left wondering what's going to happen next, but it could go in any direction and I don't think anyone is thinking of a sequel."
Michael B. Jordan agreed with us and his co-stars about all the unanswered questions, but also didn't have any concrete answers he wanted to share with us.
"It's all [about] perspective," he said of the many ways we might choose to interpret the ending.
Will they make a 'Chronicle' sequel? Should they? Tell us in the comments or on Twitter!
