Henry Cavill isn't the only guy who gets to wear a cool super-suit on the set of "Man of Steel," it seems.
In addition to the new Superman -- not to mention Michael Shannon, who's been sporting some funky mo-cap gear in playing the villainous General Zod -- it appears that a fancy costume is in the cards for Russell Crowe, who's starring in "Man of Steel" as the ill-fated Jor-El.
Exactly how Crowe will tackle the iconic character remains to be seen, but at least we now have a good sense of how he'll look. The Daily Mail snapped some pics of Crowe in full-on "Man of Steel" regalia, showing the Oscar winner in Kryptonian robes that serve to cover up a rather familiar looking costume underneath.
By all accounts, it looks like Crowe's Jor-El is sporting the same blue and reds that his superhero son wears in the previously released promo photo of Cavill as the Last Son of Krypton. Now, no one is expecting Crowe to dominate screen time when Zack Snyder's Superman reboot rolls into town -- his death, presumably early in the movie, is a given -- but come on, the "Gladiator" actor's costume is a bit too detailed to not be seen in action at least briefly. It's unlikely that he'll be fighting 'round the world in this flick, but perhaps we'll at least get some action shots of Crowe during the destruction of Krypton.
Whether or not he gets into the thick of the fight, what do you think of Crowe's "Man of Steel" attire? Are you a fan? Not so much? Weigh in with your thoughts in the comments section and on Twitter!
