Emma Stone will appear in 'The Amazing Spider-Man' in 2012.
The 2011 Oscar nominations aren't even out yet, but we're already looking forward to the blockbuster movies of 2012. First up on our must-see list: "The Amazing Spider-Man," which features Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Peter Parker's first love, and Andrew Garfield as Parker.

Meanwhile, the new trailer for "The Dark Knight," the third and final movie in Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, has already gone viral; fans are equally psyched about Peter Jackson's "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey," which also has a brand-new trailer.
There's plenty of girl power at the box office next year. Scarlett Johansson is back as the Black Widow in Marvel Studios' film adaptation of "The Avengers," and "Brave" features Pixar's first female lead in Merida, a young Scottish girl who wants to be a warrior. Kristen Stewart battles Charlize Theron in "Snow White in the Huntsman," and later returns (in vampire form) in "Breaking Dawn - Part 2."
