The first trailer for "The Amazing Spider-Man" didn't exactly leave us dying to see the film when it comes out in July. It was too emotional. The first-person perspective didn't buy fans. For a film that was supposed to reinvigorate the series, there wasn't enough Spider-Man, none of the action, none of the attitude. The series reboot wasn't looking like anything we wanted to see.
Man, were we wrong!
The second trailer is now available for the world to see, and it has everything that was missing from the first and more. We get Spidey berating a car thief for, well, dressing like a car thief. He swings. He fights. He makes fun of criminals. For the first time, we get a real sense of Andrew Garfield's take on the wall crawler — and we like what we see!
Not only that, the trailer delivered the first glimpse at the transformed Curt Connors aka The Lizard. If you were wonder, yes, the Pez dispenser was accurate.
Be sure to check out the new trailer for "The Amazing Spider-Man" and wonder what the hell they were thinking with that first one.
"Amazing Spider-Man" stars Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Rhys Ifans as Doctor Cut Connors, Denis Leary as Captain George Stacy, Sally Field as Aunt May Parker, and Martin Sheen as Uncle Ben Parker. The movie swings into action on July 3, 2012.
