"Before Watchmen" Looms Ahead

Chances are you've heard by now that DC Entertainment is officially going ahead with "Before Watchmen," an often rumored prequel series detailing the lives of Rorschach, Dr. Manhattan and more ahead of the events of Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons' original graphic novel. The news left us at MTV Movies wondering whether or not "Before Watchmen" movies might be in our future. Let us know what you think of the announcement, and stay tuned for more on the topic in the coming days and weeks.

Earth's Mightiest Merch

Seriously, the "Avengers" merchandise overload is in full effect. There's Hawkeye's Nerf bow-and-arrow to consider. There's the S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier and the Avengers' Quinjet storming into town soon. Pretty soon, we'll have "Avengers" Pizza Prints, I bet. Indeed, it's safe to say that Earth's Mightiest Heroes are definitely a go for Earth's Mightiest Marketing Campaign.

Meet The Bat

But wait! There's more! In other merchandising news, Mattel has unveiled new photos of their "Dark Knight Rises" action figures over at USA Today, including a great look at The Bat, the aerial vehicle Bruce Wayne will be piloting in his final Christopher Nolan film. Pretty cool stuff, we must admit.

Prepare For "Doom"

Last but certainly not least is this awesome "Justice League Doom" clip posted by our friends at MTV Geek. Take a look in the player below.
