The Avengers are assembling on the big screen in barely over a month — yes, really, that soon! But if you can't wait all the way until May 4 for Earth's mightiest superhero movie to hit theaters, you can at least pass the time with some awesome Lego action.
As you're likely aware by now, "Avengers" and Lego have teamed up for some new toy sets hitting shelves this year, turning the likes of the heroic Iron Man and the massive incredible Hulk into teensy-tiny heroes — tiny, yes, but no less awesome. Ahead of the "Avengers" Legos release, we've got an exclusive look at an "Avengers" Lego poster, featuring Earth's mightiest heroes sporting their yellow-blocky best.

Pretty awesome if I do say so myself. Personal favorites: Iron Man's flipped-up face mask, Lego Black Widow's angry face, and the fact that Lego Hawkeye looks to be a better archer than real Hawkeye. (I kid! I kid!)
Marvel and Lego's teamup on "Avengers" won't just include the classic characters you've come to know and love, but also some of the bigger, more important set pieces from the "Avengers" movie itself. Those set pieces include "Loki's Cosmic Cube Escape," "Hulk's Helicarrier Breakout," "Quinjet Aerial Battle" and more. Get all those details over at Marvel.com, and stay tuned to Splash Page for more "Avengers" goodness as that May 4 release date draws ever nearer.
