"Men in Black" fans, we've got two tidbits of good news for you. The quick update first: a new trailer for "Men in Black 3" is headed online Monday. Though we're not sure what the trailer will contain, there's probably some sort of clue in the second bit of news coming at you.
Yahoo! Movies has posted a new photo from the movie featuring leading men Will Smith and Josh Brolin. Hopefully that is a sign that we'll get plenty more of Agent J and the young Agent K in the upcoming trailer. The first teaser gave us a taste of that, but we're always hungry for more.
In case I'm mistaken, that looks like a tiny little gun that is being passed between J and K in this image. That small weapon has been a running joke between K and J in the "Men in Black" series, so it would be fitting that it be referenced in a promotional photo for number three. But who is passing the gun to whom? It almost looks like J could be giving it to K, which would end up being sweet poetic justice. Hopefully this scene -- and plenty more featuring young K -- will be included in the trailer.
Then again, the last batch of photos we saw featured a whole lot of Smith and Tommy Lee Jones. So maybe there will be equal parts young and old K in the trailer. Or maybe these images aren't at all indicative of what we will see come Monday. Guess we'll have to wait to find out!
"Men in Black 3" is due in theaters on May 25. It also stars Alice Eve, Emma Thompson, Bill Hader and Jemaine Clement.
