"The Amazing Spider-Man" marks the beginning of a new era for the wall-crawler on the big screen. Part of that means we get a new man behind the mask, Andrew Garfield, but we also get a new villain.
The Japanese trailer for "The Amazing Spider-Man" (via ComingSoon.net) gives us perhaps our best look yet at Dr. Curt Connors post-Lizard transformation. We still have yet to see the villain in all his green glory, but piecing together the bits we have seen from what seems like a dozen different trailers, we have a pretty good sense of his look at this point.

As with all the other trailers, this one focuses on some of the newer aspects of Peter Parker's story this time around. "The Amazing Spider-Man" will explore the mystery behind his missing parents for the first time for moviegoers.
We also get to meet the new love of Spidey's life, Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone), but what's a high school without a threatening father played by Denis Leary?
Perhaps most importantly, the trailer focuses on Curt Connor, before and after his transformation. We see his introduction into the film through his connection to Peter's father, the discovery of some new scientific advances and his eventual transformation into the Lizard.
It all amounts to another look at a movie we can't wait to see.
