Men in Black

CinemaCon has brought a lot of comic book movie goodness to the fans out there, and Sony definitely delivered when it came time for their panel.

In a summer with arguably two of the most anticipated superhero movies of all time, "The Avengers" and "The Dark Knight Rises," Marc Webb's reboot, "The Amazing Spider-Man," may have the most ground to cover with fans.

For "The Amazing Spider-Man," Sony debuted new footage, in addition to showing off some of the 3-D effects. The sizzle reel was generally well received, with some praising new POV shots in particular. Similar shots had stirred controversy nearly a year ago when the first trailer for "The Amazing Spider-Man" premiered.

Much of the footage from "The Amazing Spider-Man" portion of the program was previously shown off during the "Untold Story Begins" viral campaign event, but new shots of the Lizard added some flavor to the sizzle reel, according to ComingSoon.net.

The "Men in Black 3" presentation explored the film's opening sequence, in which Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones reunite as Agents J and K, respectively, to take care of an overgrown fish as a restaurant in New York's Chinatown. The footage also included scenes with the baddie Boris the Animal, played by Flight of the Conchords member Jemaine Clement.

As shown in the trailer, the main storyline for "Men in Black 3" involves Agent J traveling back to the 1960s to meet with young Agent K, played by Josh Brolin. The sizzle reel featured scenes in the past and highlighted the 3-D aspect of the film.
