To say we're getting pretty psyched about "Marvel's The Avengers" is an understatement. To say that we're about to jump out of our seats and scream "AVENGERS ASSEMBLE!" from the roof of the Empire State Building might be a little more accurate.
When MTV News caught up with Clark Gregg to talk about the Joss Whedon directed film, we asked him if he went into his meeting with Whedon sharing ideas of how he wanted to develop his character. "People on a higher pay grade than mine went in there and talked about what they wanted to see their character do, but I was just hoping Agent Coulson did something more than bring the Hulk a Jamba Juice," the actor said.
As leaving us with questions of "Well, what did you do?" wasn't enough, he began to praise Whedon's directing.
"In fact, when I saw the script," he continued. "I was so blown away with the way he had kind of made it everybody's dream."
See: our dream. Excuse us while we pull our hair out (as you can tell, we're not very patient). Gregg continued our torture by listing off all the amazing things "The Avengers" has in store.
"Advanced all the characters, a great story, funny as hell," he said. "I think as funny as any of these movies and at the same time really human. And then exciting as all get out. I think everyone was just like, 'Let's go do this!'"
Yes, let's do this! Let's release the movie tomorrow! How about it, Whedon?... No? Oh well, only fourteen more days.
Are you as excited as we are for "The Avengers"? What are you looking forward to seeing in the film? Let us know in the comments and on Twitter!
