Can't we all just get along? It seems like at least two of the Avengers can't in this new clip featuring Thor and Iron Man. The Norse demigod and the genius billionaire playboy philanthropist face off in this appropriately titled scene from "Marvel's The Avengers." (It's called "The Face Off," get it?)
There's not much context for the clip, but we don't really need much of an excuse to watch Iron Man and Thor beat the crap out of one another. Call us old fashioned though, because we prefer our Avengers as one big (mostly) happy family instead of fighting one another in the woods.
This scene likely takes place towards the beginning of "The Avengers" when the big-egoed superheroes are still working out the kinks in their new squad. We guess none of them really learned the difference between "teamwork" and "sidekick" in their previous films, but now's as good a time as any to start.
It looks like neither Thor nor Tony Stark quite knows what the other is capable of in this clip. Thor throws a bolt of lightning at Stark, but it only manages to power his suit up to 400 percent. Then when Stark tries to use his metal-enforced physical strength against his caped frenemy, he finds himself the victim instead. But at least knowing each others' weaknesses is a definite strength when fighting a common enemy.
If you've missed the previously released "Avengers" clips, there's these two and this one and this one to keep you occupied. Hopefully that will tide you over until "The Avengers" hits theaters on May 4.
