Good news, superhero fans! As if a movie featuring Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye, and the Hulk wasn't enough, Marc Webb confirmed on "Attack of the Show" (via Superhero Hype) that there will be a new "Amazing Spider-Man" trailer attached to the release of "The Avengers" next Friday. This, of course, comes hot off the heels of the reveal that the new "Dark Knight Rises" trailer will be premiering before the film as well.
Set for a July 3rd release, "The Amazing Spider-Man" is a re-imagined origin story of a classic Marvel superhero. Starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, and Denis Leary, the film takes place during the early days of Peter Parker's transformation. Whilst dealing with his first major high school crush, Peter uncovers several clues that may help him understand what happened to his parents. Inevitably, his path of self-discovery puts him on a collision course with Doctor Connors, who has transformed himself into the reptilian villain known only as the Lizard.
With a sequel already in the works, "The Amazing Spider-Man" is sure to be a smash-hit. And for those of you who just can't wait to see it, the new "Amazing Spider-Man" trailer will likely be available online sometime next Thursday.
