'The Avengers' The Hulk, Iron Man And Nick Fury Toys Revealed

Following in the trend of the toy lines giving away some big surprises for upcoming superhero films, a new image of The Hulk Hasbro figurine has hit the web from the London Toy Fair. Fortunately there's nothing that shocking here, unless you're one of the dedicated fans who demands the Hulk always be wearing purple pants.

Empire scoped out the toy fair scene and snapped the photos of the Hulk toy in action. As far as we can tell, the change in pants color from purple to brown is the only major change in the green giant's character. As Empire points out, Mark Ruffalo can be seen wearing a purple shirt and brown trousers before he transforms into the Hulk in "The Avengers" trailer, so this toy seems in keeping with that.

In other toy news, Kotobukiya have released an image of their newest figurine -- Iron Man's new suit, the Mark VII -- on their Facebook page. Available in June, the statue stands about 16 inches tall. Kotobukiya offered a brief backstory for the suit, sayings, "Never one to rest on his laurels, Tony [Stark] has brought his science and technology to a whole new cutting edge with the Mark VII Iron Man, the most advanced high-tech personal armor suit on the planet."

Hot Toys also announced via their Facebook page that they'll be making a Nick Fury figurine. The attached message promised that "more characters from 'The Avengers' will be coming soon," so it will be interesting to see what other toys they'll be making as tie-ins.

We can't see Fury's face in the photo Hot Toys posted, but our guess is that he'll look pretty spot-on to Samuel L. Jackson. The Hulk toy doesn't look that much like Ruffalo but -- considering one is a handsome actor and the other a hulking green monster -- at least they have the same curly hair.

"The Avengers" stars Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Tom Hiddleston. Directed by Joss Whedon, it is due in theaters on May 4.
