Didn't get enough behind-the-scenes looks at "The Avengers" last week when Entertainment Weekly dumped that deluge of photos on us? Then you're in luck, because SuperHeroHype has yet another one to add to the collection.
Joss Whedon directs Scarlett Johansson in full Black Widow attire in this latest photo to hit the web. What could he possibly be saying? The folks in the comments section sure had plenty of ideas, but probably something along the lines of "you're sexy and you look like a badass, you've got nothing to worry about."
The set is likely the same one we've seen popping up in all the ensemble photos that have hit the Internet: the deck of the S.H.I.E.L.D. hellicarier.
It might have even been the same scene that Johansson referenced in the EW article.
"The other day we were doing this big reveal shot of all the Avengers. Thor has got his hammer, Cap's got his shield, Hawkeye has his bow and arrow, and Hulk is huge. Then it pans over to me and I've got guns. Iron Man's like, hovering above all of us, ready to go," she said. "I was like, 'Joss… um… do I look okay holding these guns?'" Whedon's response reassured her: "She's a total badass. She's a killing machine."
Johansson's Black Widow appeared first in "Iron Man 2," and one hopes she'll come back in 2013's "Iron Man 3" as well. Before then, "The Avengers" will hit theaters on May 4, 2012.
