For those in need of a zombie fix, AMC has unveiled more "Walking Dead" season two teasery goodness today, courtesy an action-packed, minute-and-a-half trailer.
The teaser opens with the crew on the run, and a voiceover by Rick.
"We're facing a long hard journey, maybe even harder than we can imagine," says the fearless leader, as we see images of each of the cast members, their faces and body language full of anxiety. "I don't know what our chances are, slim I guess," Rick continues, and we see him alone on top of a roof, speaking into a walkie, followed by a shot of him aiming his rifle at something.
"It's all about slim chances now," he says at which point we realize that he's using the sight on the gun to scout a large group of zombies approaching the group from a deserted, yet gridlocked freeway.
There is a brief scene between Shane and Lori where Shane says he's leaving, that he wants to quietly slip away, which Andrea looks to eavesdrop on. Perhaps the adulteress and her accomplice might be found out this season?
We then cut to a growing unrest among the survivors, and it looks like the group will be breaking up. This is followed by shots of the various cast members in action, packing supplies, on the run, fighting and hiding from zombies.
"I guess I'm losing hope," we hear Rick say at the end of the trailer. "Like I said it's all about slim chances, a slim chance is better than none."
The first half of the new season of "Walking Dead" kicks off on Sunday, October 16 at 9pm ET with a 90-minute season premiere, followed by six one-hour episodes. The second half of the season starts on Sunday, February 12th at 9pm ET.
