'Avengers' Hawkeye Action Figure Revealed

Hawkeye has joined the ranks of the awesome "Avengers" collectibles being released by Hot Toys.

The company announced the new action figure via their Facebook page, and posted 17 images of it for fans to analyze and get excited about. No word yet on when it will be available, how much it will cost or how many units will be sold, but it's still nice to see Hawkeye get the badass treatment like the rest of the gang.

Here is the official statement Hot Toys released about the figure:

"Hot Toys is proud to present the second limited edition collectible figurine - Hawkeye from the upcoming superhero blockbuster 'The Avengers,'" the announcement reads. "The movie-accurate collectible is specially crafted based on the image of Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye in the movie, highlighting the newly developed head sculpt, highly detailed costume, weapons and accessories."

The first collectible revealed was of Nick Fury, which Hot Toys also announced on their Facebook page. At the time, the company promised "more characters from 'The Avengers' will be coming soon." They seemed to be pointing towards this Hawkeye figure, but our fingers are crossed that they'll be releasing even more "Avengers" collectibles in the coming months.

It's nice to see some characters -- like Nick Fury and Hawkeye -- who likely won't get as much screen time as the central four Avengers get some extra time in the spotlight thanks to these action figures. Hopefully Hot Toys will make figurines of characters like Loki, Black Widow and Maria Hill, since fans care about them but haven't seen them as much in the promotional material for "The Avengers."
