The end is finally in sight. Tickets for selected midnight screenings of "The Avengers" are on sale, which means we're officially in the final stretch towards the film's May 4 release date.
The full list of cities that have participating theater locations can be found on the Marvel Facebook page. If you live in California or the East Coast, you're much more likely to find a screening than, well, anyone else in the United States. But never fear, because more tickets are likely to go on sale over the next few weeks.
The locations includes Boston, New York City, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago, Orlando, Miami, Salt Lake City, Seattle, Paramus, NJ and six locations in California: San Francisco, San Jose, Hollywood, Burbank, Anaheim and Irvine.
While not all the screenings are exclusively in 3D, don't forget that if you do go see the flick in three dimensions you will get a snazzy pair of "Avengers"-exclusive 3D glasses. And, let's face it, we're never too old for a new addition to our Marvel swag collection.
If that isn't enough "Avengers" excitement to keep you happy for one day, a bunch of new promotional posters also made their way online today. While they highlight the heroes of the film and not its villain (sorry Loki), the posters do show our favorite Avengers in some cool battle-ready poses.
