It should come as no surprise that Batman will soon be the recipient of yet another cartoon series, produced by Warner Bros. Animation. After all, Batman is basically everyone's favorite superhero. With over six feature films, ten TV shows, six ongoing comic books, twenty video games, and hundreds of actions figures, Batman is just something that people never seem to get sick of.
About a month ago we got a first look at some teaser art for Cartoon Network's newest animated Batman series, "Beware the Batman." Well, now that teaser art has a teaser trailer to go along with it. And, believe it or not, the trailer is even more of a tease than the art was.
In the aforementioned teaser, we get a quick glimpse of the CGI Batmobile speeding through what appears to be one of the many underground tunnels connecting the Batcave to Gotham City. Caught up in his interior monologue, Batman sits behind the wheel warning those "who would hurt the innocent" to "beware his wrath" in a classic Dark Knight demeanor.
The voice actor behind the caped crusader this time around, Kevin Conroy though he is not, seems fairly capable of delivering those gritty, monotone threats that make Batman the ominous figure that he is. That being said, we can't wait to see CGI Batman in action! Slated to come out sometime this winter, "Beware the Batman" looks to be a fresh and interesting take on an already tried and true classic.
